Returning something to a store

Bringing it back and getting a refund.

Bring what you need

Take the item and your receipt (paper or email). Returns are easiest within the store’s window (often 30 days).

At the counter

Go to customer service or any register and say you’d like to return something.

They may ask why

“It didn’t fit” or “I changed my mind” is enough. You don’t owe a long explanation.

Getting your money back

Refunds usually go to your original payment. If there’s a snag, calmly ask for options or a manager.
